I’ve been watching Supernatural series for some time, and just laughed myself to pieces for Ash the mullet guy when het says “All business in the front, and party at the back”
Here is the snip and another extended remixed one :

When installing my development machine(installing MySQL 4.x) I usually run into this error on installation and especially when using the GUI tools like MySQL Administrator and trying to connect via PHP:
Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
What I usually do is just set the database to use old passwords in the startup parameters or do the following SQL for the relevant user.
SET PASSWORD FOR
'
some_user
'@'some_host
' = OLD_PASSWORD('newpwd
');
Wonder if anyone else is also getting this problem alot.
… not exactly, you’ll still be crawled, but for in-depth indexing, maybe not so much.
Check out the newest post from Google Blogoscoped,“Googlebot Submitting Forms to Find More Pages” and the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog post as well.
Google notes that they only do this form submission for “GET” forms. A form using GET results in a parametrized URL like example.com/show?foo=bar. The guidelines for webmasters are that a GET request should never actually change data on the server, like trigger a user registraton or something; for such things, webmasters should use POST, which the Googlebot will not submit. Google also note that they “omit any forms that have a password input or that use terms commonly associated with personal information such as logins, userids, contacts, etc.†Plus, Google say that pages they find will not reduce the PageRank of other pages on the site.
Just a quick rant!
Got the shock of my life last night when filling up my car which is a diesel.
I paid R 9.98 per liter, cost me about R 480 to fill up the tank which is a 45 liter tank plus a few extra liters.
This really hurt !
For the last couple of days the load shedding schedule has been totally off, don’t know what is going on with Eskom, as their load shedding shedule was totally different than the actual load shedding.
If one could only plan ahead and know that you can trust the schedules, then it won’t hurt as much as it currently does.
You can still try this Load Schedule, maybe your lucky and they keep to it 😉
Two days ago I joined 3 new blog aggregators/blog promoting and a site traffic website namely :
I previously only was a member of BlogMad (which is also developed by SA guys) which is abit different than the aggregators of today, where BlogMad is a blog trafficking site giving you a ratio of 1:1. It seems that they have slowed down abit lately, and I’m not hearing alot of buzz from that side anymore.
Anyways, I got setup on these new aggregators and SATopSites and found this morning that I must have some luck on my side, as I got alot of traffic from these newly found “partners” and foudn that my Amatomu position was 777 .
I’ve actually learned this trick whilst working with MOSS 2007 previously and quickly checked the integration options and stumbled upon this feature as well. I myself never use this method but it is nice to know, and maybe this information could be usefull to someone out there 😉
Herewith the steps to post Blog Posts via Word 2007.
Your post should now be published to your host with the images(if configured).
I found the following YouTube video, where Eric Schmidt and Douglas Merrill talk about how they are using the same applications which are available to everyone else in the world internally to store all their documents, handle collaboration and use it for all internal running of the company.
Could this be something that could grow bigger and maybe into other enterprises and companies ?
I see it as it is all right that they use it for themselves, as they are in control of the servers and data, but for a 3rd party company I still see the risk of an external company being in control of your data. What do you reckon ? Will Google Apps be feasible for large corporates out there ? It could work for small startups though …
Google Docs Blog has announced that they will be slowly rolling out Google Docs Offline.
This will enable you to work one your documents offline and when you come back online it will be synchronized again. All this is brought to you by the Google Gears open source framework that has been making the headlines lately.
I’ve checked my Google Docs and there is nothing yet of this feature.
