Some time ago I started playing poker with some guys at work, and after a while I got consumed with this very intriguing card game.
After realising I’m ‘addicted’ and that there are some religion clashes I immediately stopped!
About a few weeks ago I started playing again, after doing my research and making sure that poker is not gambling as you are playing against other players, and that skills and money management is involved.
When I started playing again, I first read through some poker strategy guides before going to play again. Still today I’m not really playing alot, and especially not for a lot of money yet.
On this second run of playing poker I did much better, as I now knew how to strategise, read people’s reactions and how to learn other peoples ways of play.
As a result I decided to start a new blog, called Poker Addicts, which basically revolves around poker happenings in and around South Africa and anything to do with poker news, strategies etc.
