Tonight saw the launching of my new free hosted service, which is a URL shorteniser that runs on my own script that I started to write a few months ago, called SHORT URL . This system runs totally off a file system and is not dependent on any database.

Obvious enhancements will be made as demand and usage increases on the site, so feel free to give it ashot.
