I played around Lively this evening, and joined the FightClub room, which has a Television which is streaming from a YouTube video.

Google Launches virtual worlds

Just a quick post before I start to graft at work….

Well, Google has launched Google Lively, which in essence could be become a second SecondLife or more.  With Google Lively you can actually create rooms and let your visitors of your website chat within a virtual world.  Have a look !

Newest production he is features in, in Evolver’s music video for Pretty thing – and I must say it’s a very good quality production. And the band obviously is awesome!

World’s first real time virtual presentation

Wow, very nice emerging technologies from Musion.

Basically it’s a holographic projection video conferencing technology that was built by Cisco and Musion, which is currently being planned for stage-type environments, andHolographic matrix later into business and then into your home.

They’ve got a nice video of the presentation here.

Rickrolled

I’ve just been Rickrolled (WikiAnswers | Wikipedia ) on YouTube, was looking at the latest viewed videos, and found this video, “8 Teenagers Beat up 16 year old girl”, and when I went to view it, guess who it was….?

Aren’t we living in interesting times especially with stuff like this and other like the Vernon Koekemoer, Ken Lee and many other such phenomenons.

Google Reader stepping up

As usual Google is digging into their current user base and launching more and more new features which I reckon is slowly starting to take over almost each area of social networks on the internet, or some areas that is.

They’re latest new features is almost a Twitter/Friendster feature within Google Reader is with

  1. Sharing of bookmarklets, share anything(any content) with your friends you find, just drag and drop to toolbar and it’s instantaniously shared.Pinky Brain
  2. Share items with a note, Share content/web pages with your own notes attached.
